Ardee

Based in Ardee town, this club has been in existence for over 14 years. A large club, consisting of almost 40 adults and 60 juveniles, Ardee BC play on Thursday nights. In the Louth League, this club competes at division 4, 5 6 and 7. Coaching is available occassionally.

Cooley

Cooley Badminton Club has its roots in a club formed in the 1970's. Originally based in Omeath, the club moved to the Cooley Community Centre once built.

This club has nearly 20 adults and close to 40 juveniles as members. They play on Mondays and Wednesdays and currently compete in the League at divisions 5, 6 and 7.

Dunleer

This new club formed only in the last 2 years. Counting 15 to 20 adults as members, club nights are on Tuesdays. Last year was their first year entering the Louth Leagues. Coaching has been available before.

Bessbrook

Bessbrook have been active for over 10 years now. This club can only support experienced adult players at this moment in time. Tuesday nights is club night.

Darver

For at least 10 years this club has been providing coaching on Tuesday nights to almost 50 juveniles. The club regularly enters tournaments around Louth and Dublin and two members of the club have recently been selected to play on the Leinster squad.

Dundalk

Dundalk Sports Centre

This juvenile club has over 40 members currently. While the club itself is currently at capacity for membership, beginners classes are run on Saturday mornings. Club sessions are Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings and coaching is provided.

The club has been running for over 20 years now, and are active in a a number of tournaments and competitions, both within Louth and at Leinster levels. Fun tournaments are regularly organised at Easter and Christmas. The Eamonn Dowdall tournament is run annually towards the end of the season and sees ex-members of the club join ranks with current members.

Phoenix

The Phoenix Badminton Club was born from the ashes of the old Friary club which regretably closed in 2008. The Friary players took it upon themselves to find a new base and try to grow the club. Currently the club have approximately 10 to 15 adult players and are based in the Blackrock Community Centre on Wednesday nights. This year, the club is entering the Louth League in division 4, 5 and 6.

Glenn

This is a small mixed adult club playing out of Glenn. Club nights are Monday and players compete in divisions 5 and 6.

Silverbridge

Silverbridge run both a juvenile and adult badminton club. The juvenile club have been running for 3 years now and has 45 members. Juveniles meet on Mondays and Saturdays. The adult club runs for 2 hours on Wednesdays.

Boyne Badminton Club

Boyne Badminton Club was formed by members of Bettystown Badminton Club in September 2008 when the club moved from Laytown and Bettystown Golf Club to St. Mary's Dioscesan School, Beamore Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth.

The club has over 40 adult members and 30 junior members. The club also has mens, ladies and mixed teams competing in Classes 3,4 and 5 of the Dublin and Districts League. The club has four courts and is opens on Monday and Thursday nights from 7 to 8pm for juveniles and 8 to 11pm for seniors players.

The club is welcoming to players of all levels and new members will find a friendly and sociable atmosphere balanced by a healthy appetite to improve and compete at the highest level.
